1 – Career Orientation: matching passions with labor trends (1 ECTS, level 5 of the MQF and the EQF Framework for Life Long Learning): This Module is specially designed to provide students with a wide overview on the labour trends, existing innovative learning approaches and mindset support that help them to respond to a critical question after finishing High School or University:” What’s next in my life?”.

This module of study will be assesed by means of class participation and preformances of the students during their lectures. Percentage marks will be graded according to the assessment policy of GY Academy:
In the case of a fail, students are offered the opportunity to be re-assesed by givin them an assignement.

2 – Entrepreneurship and Leadership (2 ECTS, level 5 of the MQF and the EQF Framework for Life Long Learning): During this module, the students will be asked to come up with ideas for an event, a social or business initiative, a start-up idea, and have it planned, marketed, sold and executed as a team. In order to realize their objective, the teams will have at their disposal a certain budget (included in the registration fee) that they will have to manage in order to realize their events/projects. You will manage your own holiday transforming it in a project to be developed with an international team.

The evaluation will be based on the following criterias:
a) the students general actitude towards the learning, the progress made in increasing problem solving actictude, in interacting with team in an international context and their capacity to focus on improve the way to communicate efficently to present an idea or to contribute it to shape it.
The kind of participation of the students to this module will have a 50% weight of the final mark
At the end of the module, the student will receive the following qualification:

3 – Business English (2 ECTS, level 5 of the MQF and EQF Framework for Life Long Learning): This Module aims at helping students to communicate effectively in English during their academic path, as well as at starting to prepare them for the professional contexts. It will help to expand English vocabulary, improve ability to write and speak in English, to better organise their presentation and improve their ability to interact in English.

This module of study will be assesed by means of course assignements and preformances of the students during their lectures that will cover the declared comptences, knowledge and skills. Percentage marks will be allocated to specific tasks of the project and graded according to the assessment policy of GY Academy:
In the case of a fail, students are offered the opportunity to re-sit/re-submit once the assessments of the module.
At the end of the module, the student will receive an Award in Business English
This award intends to introduce or strengthen students into skills that are critical for any kind of careers – as employees or self-employed – and that are also very important while developing their path of studies. This award does not lead to a specific occupation but is aimed to provide a career perspective.
Freshers – young students prior entering their first undergraduate degree who are interested in exploring their passion, strengthen some critical skills and to be able to match them with their career perspectives that lay ahead of them. This program will address their strengths and hone them further, including languages, understanding of their weakness and set out to turn these into new opportunities.
Graduates – for those students who are currently studying for a bachelor’s degree or already have a previous degree and are looking to improve their skills and mindsets that will help them to make smart, conscious decisions on what to do next after graduating from their University, as well as to acquire or strengthen critical skills, including languages, in case of planning an international career.

This award is structured into three modules that will be delivered in a traditinal manner as it will provide students with the opportunity to learn in an international environment allowing them to connect with, problem-solve, and network with other students from a wide range of backgrounds. Furthermore, the traditional learning will allow students to recive apart from the theoretical aspect of learning the guidance and emotional support of their coaches during their hands on learning.
As teaching modalities, there will be a combiantion of frontal teaching with working groups, project based approach and reflective learning. The delivery of this modules requires the application of diversified teaching and learning approaches in order to effectively meet the required outcomes of the modules. This requires a combination of teacher facilated instruction, practical sessions and student self-study. In additional, experential learning will be utilised by the facilatator so that students gain an insight of practical real world experience. Practical sessions will also involve (not exclusively) the use of digitial tools and management tools.
Modules of study are assessed by means of working in class, projects, portfolios, written assignments and/or examinations.
Assessments are graded against a pre-set rubric which contains percentage marks.
On completion of all assessments for a specific module, students obtain the following grades on the basis of the percentage mark obtained:

On completion of all modules of study, all the percentage marks are weighted (based on the total ECTS value). The total sum obtained is then converted to a percentage performance. Overall programme performance is then graded in reflection of GY Academys IQA guidelines as follows:
